We booked the room with a kitchen area for the size of the room which was perfect. There was a note from the member of staff who had prepared the room (Tsveti) and this gave a really personal touch to the whole experience. Robes were available on request (although one lacked a belt but we weren't chasing that up). The fittings throughout were thought through - there were sockets next to the bed (this is not as obvious a thing as you would expect). There were different levels of lighting even a lovely subdued level. Our room overlooked the main road on the front which should have been noisy but triple glazing took care of that. Breakfast was a buffet style with a great selection of both hot and cold meats on offer as well as cereal etc. There was a coffee machine but also a filter pot. We asked for a 'takeaway' breakfast on our final morning and that was delightful. The breakfast room (restaurant) was light and airy. We asked about a taxi for the airport at 4am and were told 'no problem' and they were right - I think, like many hotels in Sofia, they have drivers on call. In fact the staff were so good that after completing this review I am going to email them to thank them for a great stay. Great position, 15 minutes walk from the main strip.

As of the summer of 2023, it is obvious the hotel has been recently renovated. There is new stone work, carpets and lighting as well as fresh paint. The bathroom is new, spacious and well stocked with more than adequate water pressure and flow. The room is also spacious and large enough for two people to enjoy the space. The room electronics are new and the room has inbuilt USB chargers. There is refrigerator and mini bar which was extremely useful during the hot months. You can run the A/C or open a window but not both (this somehow make good sense). The breakfast is a buffet of wonderful food and great start to the day. The hotel itself is located between two metro stops and directly in front of tram stops. It is easy to get to and from nearly all the sights in central Sofia by foot or tram with the Metro being an option for more distant treks. The staff at the hotel are friendly and appear happy to help you. All in all it was a fantastic stay and I could definitely recommend the hotel. I hope to stay there again someday.

Overall, the hotel provides a good quality experience, with no surprises: no bad surprises, but also not good ones. The hotel has quite a central location, you can walk to many places, and there is a public transport nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful, their English is good. The room was well maintained, everything was in place and worked well. The breakfast was good and tasty, but lacked the extra quality touch and willingness to refresh the menu. Jacuzzi and sauna were working (quite basic, no luxury). We got an option to do the late checkout for a very reasonable price.

Stayed for a few nights with my wife during our vacations and first time in Sofia. We stayed in one of the new bedroom which was fantastic, bed was excellent, bedroom was clear, A/C worked perfectly. Breakfast is pretty good too. Location is close (walking distance) to most of the main city attractions and good restaurants. Hotel is also 6min walking distance from one of the main Metro stations of the city and from there we could go anywhere we wanted.

Caio

The breakfast was surprisingly well spread - a great mix of cold and hot options. The room quality were good - not great but good. Nothing particularly wrong but looked a bit dated. The staff were super friendly and the neighborhood is super safe. Housekeeping was efficient and thorough. And oh the rooms were very quiet and the beds very comfy. Definitely value for money.
